Segmentation studies are critical when your target customers have varying needs. A segmentation study evaluates mutually exclusive segments, such as male vs. female, customer vs. non-customer, or more in-depth segments such as patients who are diagnosed vs. undiagnosed, taking a prescription medication vs. taking an over the counter medication.
